Head of Supply Chain (m/w) [#542]

You want to bring in your extensive work experience at the interface between engineering – operations - suppliers and the strategic direction of our Supply Chain department? Your training goals

  • You will manage Global Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing and Manufacturing functions within our Operations organization
  • You will identify all overlapping and inconsistent work flows and build standard processes that will be used across all product lines and departments
  • You will work with manufacturing partners to reduce cycle time and improve yield and overall quality to 99%
  • You will outsource all parts purchasing to our Manufacturing partners
  • You will lead the creation of a global manufacturing and supply chain plan for our next generation products
  • You will lead the transition of these products from engineering builds to mass production
  • You will create a refurbishment process to allow near-new units to be redeployed to new customers
  • You will consolidate purchasing spend to strategic suppliers, and negotiate lower costs based on yearly volumes, but with low MOQs
  • You will start a QBR process with all strategic suppliers using scorecards, road maps and a standard TQRDCEB format
  • You will lead and develop your employees, creating a highly motivated and performing team
Your fitness level
  • You have a degree in a technical field (ME, EE, IE, QE, etc) and good business acumen, or a degree in Business or Operations Management with a solid understanding of technical cost drivers
  • You have at least 10 years of relevant professional experience in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management
  • You have a proven success record in contract negotiations, cost reduction and process implementation
  • You have an extensive network of suppliers and want to expand it further
  • You demonstrate communication skills and negotiating skills in German and English
  • You are able to build strong and productive relationships inside the company, especially with Engineering
  • You have experience in change management and leadership

We develop electronic fitness machines and mobile applications connected to our cloud infrastructure. Our flexx-devices complement the training experience through muscle length growth and promote the mobility of our users. The iPad app allows the trainers to support the members more effectively by giving them access to workout schedules and training results. Users are enabled to track their training progress using our fitness machines and mobile apps.
